Middle School Sampler
Enjoy all favorite camp activities like cookouts, crafts, campfires, sports, swimming, and singing. You can also try your hand at adventure with mountainboards, the ropes courses, and rock climbing. And you can’t forget our day trip to Ohiopyle State Park for hiking, swimming, and bum slides. Plus each sampler camp gets to pilot new camp activities a year before the rest of the campers. This camp is great for first time campers; campers who cannot or do not want to pick just one specialty to do all week; or campers who simply want to enjoy a week of good old fashioned summer camp.

Meet your Dean, Holly Yurek
Hi! My name is Holly Yurek. I started my amazing camping career in 2001 and attended the CIT camp in 2009. The next year since I was of the age to start working at Jumonville, I did. I worked at as a life guard in 2010, 2012, and 2013. During those 3 fantastic years I was also periodically a night counselor when needed. My faith in Jesus Christ as grown and thrived so much from being at Jumonville. I’ve made memories and friendships that will last a life time from attending and working at Jumonville. My favorite bible verses are Philippians 4:13 and Colossians 1:11-12.
A little more about myself: I am currently a junior (will be a senior in 2015) Chemistry major and Mathematics minor at La Roche College in Pittsburgh. My goal is to go to graduate school to study Chemistry in further detail. I am also a part of the women’s volleyball team and Vice President of The National Society of Leadership and Success. I have 9 siblings (6 brothers and 3 sisters), and I am the oldest! Some of my hobbies include photography, playing sports (especially volleyball), hanging out with friends, making crafts from Pinterest...the list could go on!
We will be adding photos of this event daily, so please check back when the event starts.
